PARKING
Abayance Bay is a multi-use facility, operated under terms of a National Forest Service lease that requires us to manage parking and access for many different types of uses and guests on a daily and weekly basis. Please read below for our parking and vehicle access rules.
FREE PARKING/ACCESS
SUNDAY – FRIDAY BETWEEN 7AM – 10PM, parking access to Abayance Bay is available in the marina parking lot FREE OF CHARGE. This includes passenger vehicles, trucks & boat trailers, golf carts, side-by-sides, bikes and motorcycles.
ACCESSIBLE PARKING is provided right next to the main restaurant entrance, for any vehicle with a valid and current disability parking permit.
OVERNIGHT RV/CAMPER PARKING is available for a fee, with more information and booking reservations available on a first-come first-serve basis until we reach capacity via our camping page.
OVERNIGHT PARKING IS NOT ALLOWED UNLESS YOU HAVE BOOKED A CAMPING RESERVATION. All non-reserved / non-camping vehicles must leave the property by 10pm.
CONCERT & SPECIAL EVENT PARKING
On SATURDAYS during the summer season, Abayance Bay has a combined FREE and PAID/PREFERRED parking system to manage concert/special event parking levels.
MARINA SLIP LESSEES
- Carts and side-by-sides are granted FREE PARKING on Saturdays immediately adjacent to the docks. We highly recommend using carts or side-by-sides on event days
- Marina Slip Lessees will be given one (1) parking pass to park one (1) passenger vehicle in the marina lot on concert/event days for the entire day, with dedicated/reserved parking in a preferred area convenient to the slips.
- Additional Marina Slip Lessee guests / vehicles may arrive and park for FREE until 3pm in the marina customer lot on the north side. All guest cars must leave the lot by 5pm on event days, and any arrivals after 3pm will be directed to the FREE lot or must pay the $30 special event fee.
BOAT RENTAL CUSTOMERS
- Rental customers with boat reservations on event days are permitted to park for FREE in the general marina lot. All vehicles must leave the parking area within one hour of the conclusion of your rental or be subject to the parking fee.
CONCERT / EVENT ATTENDEES
- Carts and side-by-sides are granted FREE PARKING on Saturdays.
- Parking in the marina lot is FREE until 3pm for passenger vehicles.
- Starting at 3pm, parking in the marina lot requires a $30 parking fee.
- FREE PARKING is provided at the grass lot across Hwy 37 from the entrance to Abayance Bay. A FREE PASSENGER SHUTTLE operates from 3pm – 10pm to take passengers up and down the driveway/hill.
BOAT LAUNCH USERS
- Vehicles with boat trailers may enter the lot and use the boat launch until 2pm on event days to drop boats in the lake, and then park for FREE in the designated trailer parking zone. ALL TRAILERS MUST LEAVE THE LOT BY 5PM.
- After 2pm, boat trailers using the launch will be directed to the FREE PARKING area in the grass parking lot across Highway 37
ACCESSIBLE PARKING
Individuals with a valid and current disability parking permit are given free parking next to the restaurant entry on concert/event days.
